When construction of a new boat begins, the spray booth is prepared while molds for the requested boat are meticulously cleaned and waxed. The gel coat specialist then tapes the chosen graphics, original or one of the many patterns available. The gel coat is sprayed and the lamination begins with the application of the 'first skin' of fiberglass over the gel coat. The 100% vinyl ester resin, knitted/multi-directional fiberglass material, balsa cored decolite and marine grade plywood are integrated to form the strongest yet lightest structure possible. After a mandatory curing time, the bottom and deck sections are assembled, and seam is thoroughly bonded with additional fiberglass, along with installation and glassing of all bulkheads.
